Alexis is the visionary behind Naftilus. He brings to the table vast knowledge and experience in the field of insurance, as he has contributed to the insurance sector throughout his career as an Insurance Broker with Marsh & McLennan, Commercial Property, Marine Risks Underwriter and claims manager with "The Ethniki Insurance AEEGA", for almost 20 years having been familiarized with insurance from various aspects claims, sales Underwriting. 

He is the author of the book "Commercial Property Insurance and Business Interruption". He studied in Piraeus University Business Administration, and received an Master of Science Diploma in "International Strategic Management" at Staffordshire University and Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU). He  holds a Diploma from the Chartered Insurance Institute of London (CIIL) and is a certified Negotiator from the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). He is also a regular lecturer of the Hellenic Institute of Insurance Studies (EIAS) on commercial insurance and negotiation topics.
